View From Whistler

It was August, snowing, -1 degrees and very cloudy. For a brief second, the sky opened up and showed us this from 7,087 feet.

I was dressed for the summer and can't express how cold it was up there. daily photo for September 25, 2008

Very nice! Great b&w processing. This certainly isn't something you'd see on PEI.

Ah! Whistler! This is in my neck of the woods (well, sort of). I love the darkness of this image, the glow of the snow on the peaks.Nice dramatic sky, tones!

Wonderful capture and all the more spectacular in greyscale. Sorry for the delay in visiting your site. I've had intermittent Internet connection for 2 days...and withdrawals...lol. Love the image.
